Drug Uses

How It Is Taken

Missed Dose
Never double dose Buspar. If you do miss a dose then take it as soon as you remember about it. If, however, it is time for your next scheduled dose when you remember then skip the missed dose and continue on with the dosing schedule.
Side Effects
The side effects of Buspar vary person to person. It is important to inform your physician if you experience abnormal behavior while on Buspar.
Common side effects include:
- Dizziness
- Drowsiness
- Insomnia
- Aches
- Headaches
- Blurred vision
- Dry skin
Other commonly reported side effects can include fatigue and vivid dreams as well as depression. More serious side effects like involuntary movement such as tremors and twitches, difficulty breathing, and even chest pain. Consult your doctor if you experience any side effects or if those side effects persist and worsen.
Storage
Keep Buspar out of reach of children and away from heat and moisture. Make sure to discard any old or outdated medication in a safe and responsible manner. Keep the medication in the original container at all times.
Overdose
Overdosing on Buspar can result in symptoms that resemble some of the most common side effects. If you experience vomiting, dizziness, and decreased pupil size contact your doctor immediately. If you suspect that an overdose has occurred contact emergency officials.
