Reasons Fioricet Is Prescribed
Fioricet is a drug that induces sleep which is made from barbituric acid, which has been combined with a pain medication and caffeine; it does not contain any aspirin. Missing Doses

Possible Side Effects

Storing Fioricet
Fioricet should be kept away from children at a temperature of 86 F degrees, 30 C degrees.
Overdosing on Fioricet
Taking too much Fioricet or taking it along with a depressant can cause the patient to become unconscious or die. People know they have overdosed when they feel extremely drowsy, confused, very weak, begin to hallucinate, breathe erratically, experience slow or troubled breathing, slurring speech, reduced coordination, vomiting blood or a slower than normal heartbeat.
Extra Facts
Perilous side effects may result if Fioricet is taken when monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOI) have been taken within the last two weeks. If other drugs have been taken that also create the effects of Fioricet, taking Fioricet with them will increase these effects. Patients need to inform their doctors of all medications they are taking.
