Dovonex Uses
Dovonex is a medicated cream used for treating plaque psoriasis.
How to Use Dovonex
Dovonex Cream is applied topically to the affected area using a thin layer of cream that is gently rubbed in completely. It is usually prescribed to be applied twice daily.
Warning and Precautions
Dovonex Cream use may result in irritation of the lesions as well as surrounding skin. If this should occur, Dovonex should be discontinued and the physician should be notified. Dovonex should only be used for conditions that it has been prescribed for.
Missed Dosages
If a dose is missed, it should be applied as soon as remembered. If the next scheduled application is due or near due, skip the dosage that was missed and resume the normal application schedule. Avoid double dosing to replace the missed dose.
Side Effects
Common side effects of Dovonex Cream include rash, skin irritation, dermatitis, itching and psoriasis symptoms worsening.
Storing Dovonex
Dovonex should be stored at temperatures between 59 degrees F to 77 degrees F or 15 C to 25 degrees C. Avoid freezing.
Overdose Dovonex
Cream can produce systemic effects when applied and absorbed in large amounts. If suspected of having overdosed, stop using immediately and seek medical attention.
